Feedback from the attendees declares the 15th Annual Fundraiser was a huge success!!! From heartfelt speeches to brilliant and vibrant artwork, the event was one to remember. $30,000 was raised which will be the fuel for our programs in 2020. We’re thrilled to introduce our new logo and website. Credit for the beautiful designs goes to The Works Design Communications who so kindly donated their time and talent. We were also privileged to have Angela Dukat, Dukat Studios, share with us the incredible photos she took while visiting Igoma in December 2018 as part of a travel group. A new minor surgery operating theatre in Igoma is now complete
Thanks to our SIP Tanzania board and staff, construction of a minor surgical theatre building was completed in July. SIP was able to send a wire transfer of $30,000 to support the first purchase of equipment in July and we’re planning to send a second installment to fully outfit the theatre in September. The expectation is that by late fall, the surgery theatre will be operational and providing life-changing support to people in need.
